Marcus and Jack kick off their viewing experience with the very first episode of Sailor Moon! This episode consists of the pair watching the first episode titled, "The Crybaby: Usagi's Beautiful Transformation." The episode originally aired in 1992 for Japanese audiences, but didn't receive an English dub until 1995.
Incidentally, the first episode of Sailor Moon was directed by Junichi Sato, a talented individual in the world of animation. He is perhaps best known to western audiences as the storyboard artist for Neon Genesis Evangelion and its associated films. He's also worked on long-running series like Sgt. Frog and Aria. He's a heavy-hitter, so it was interesting to see his name attached to Sailor Moon!
